80's Hair Bands/Glam Metal!

Ever since I was thirteen, I've been obsessed with eighty's hair bands/hair metal. Whichever you wanna call it! Glam metal's another one. For those who don't know about eighty's rock, there's bands I bet you've heard of. Mötley Crüe, Poison, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Dokken, and much more! These bands(and many more!) had long, teased hair, glamorous make up, and spandex pants! This generation is my parents generation. Lucky!! I'm so jealous! I have however been to many concerts. My first rock concert in 2012 was Poison, Def Leppard, and Lita Ford. I've always been so scared I'd lose my favorite bands from the seventies and eighties before I had a chance to see them. I still am scared. In 2014 I FINALLY got to see my favorite band in the whole world! Mötley Crüe! They toured with Alice Cooper, whose another artist I've always wanted to see. Every band I mentioned I saw has put on a 'Kickstart My Heart' show! Sorry if that was cheesy. Haha. That's a song by Mötley Crüe is about their bassist, Nikki Sixx's heroin overdose. I'll mention about that a little when I do my blog about Nikki. These hair bands had it all! The sex, drugs, and rock n' roll. I'm not about the drugs unless it's music or movies. Speaking of movies, Mötley Crüe made a book called 'The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band', which is about their story from childhood to being in Mötley. They made a movie about it  which is really hard for me to watch. I read Nikki's book "The Heroin Diaries: A Year In The Life Of A Shattered Rockstar", and his overdose in 1987 during the Girls, Girls, Girls tour was in the movie... I never wanted to see that on any screen, but they added it.. It was a very important part in both Nikki and Mötley Crüe's life as a band and Nikki's personal life. I don't wanna get into that subject any further because It's so hard to talk about without breaking down or getting emotional. With that said, I think I should make my next blog about my mental health so you understand me more. That's it for tonight's blog! I hope you tune in for more! Thank you!
